Why are your prices so low?  Is your quality low too?

Absolutely not!  Our prices are low because we deal directly with the manufacturers.  These suppliers have proven themselves by supplying us with excellent service and quality wedding gowns.  Did you know that when you buy your discount wedding gown somewhere else, you're probably paying upwards of 60% too much?  The mark-up on Bridal Gowns is outrageous.

Are your gowns in stock?

In order to offer a large selection and keep prices at near wholesale, we do not stock gowns.   We have over 250 wedding dresses.  That's  one of the biggest selections on the web. 

Because we want to offer you the biggest selection possible at a good size range, your dress will be made when you order it.  You will have 24 hours to cancel your order.  After that, your dress will be in the early stages of creation and we won't be able to cancel any orders.

Do I need a PayPal Account To Order My Dress From You?

No.  You do not need a Paypal Account to order from us.  You can use any major credit card OR your PayPal Account.  Which ever is more comfortable for you.  We offer PayPal because we are a PayPal Verified Business and that means that our address, bank account status and business name have all been comfirmed with PayPal.  Additionally, buying through PayPal brings extra protections to both buyer and seller.

How Do I Place My Order With You?

Ordering is easy.  Simply choose the wedding dress or bridesmaid dress that you want and add it to your shopping cart.

When you are ready to check out, you will be redirected to a secure PayPal page where you can make your payment.

Once we are notified that you have placed your order, we will send you a confirmation email.

This email will ask you which color you want your dress to be in.  And How you want your dress made.  You can either have it made in a US Size 2-28  or you can have your dress made custom to your exact measurements.  Either way, the price is the same.

After we get the confirmation email from you with pertinent information, we will begin creating your wedding dress for you.

All dresses are made at the time of the order. Our embelishments and embroidery are all done by hand. If you want your dress to be made specifically to your measurements, it is considered a custom order*.  Please email us at info@mybigfatbeautifulwedding.com before ordering a custom gown and we will walk you through the process.

Are There Any Extra Costs Involved That I Need To Know About?  When I tried to order at my local bridal shop they told me that I would have about $300 in extra charges!

Absolutely Not! When you order a dress from us, the price you see is the price you pay!  Period!  There are no additional charges whatsoever.  Shipping is FREE so you don't even have to worry about that.  Also, there is no additional charge for plus sizes.  And yes you can get your dream dress made hollow to hem at no extra charge.  The only additional charges you might possibly incur would be for bustling or if you ordered a US Size gown and had to have  any alterations in order to get the dress to your exact measurements.  Naturally, these charges are entirely up to you because you work with the your local seamstress/tailor.

Can I Get A Discount If I Order My Bridesmaids Dresses Or Mother Of The Bride Gown From You?

Absolutely!  If you purchase more than 2 additional dresses after you have paid for your wedding dress we will be more than happy to give you a 15% discount on the total order amount.  But you must order them at the same time (not with your wedding dress).

Do You Have Layaway?

We want you to be able to afford the Gown of your dreams. So, if we have that gown and you need a lay-away plan we can help. Just contact us at info@mybigfatbeautifulwedding.com and we'll set up a payment plan that works for you. 

The minimum downpayment is $100 and we can work out the balance in a timely payment plan that is tailored to your needs.  Your dress is not ordered though until it is paid for in full.

If you need to cancel your layaway there will be a 15% cancellation fee.

What about refunds?

If you aren't happy, we aren't happy.  If there is something wrong with the quality of your dress, or any other problem that is our fault you can return your dress for a full refund less return shipping and merchant fees.  In order to get a refund you must mail the dress back within 3 days from receiving it.  For our protection and yours, there are no exceptions.  The dress must be in the original packaging and it must not be worn or show any signs of wear.  It also must be insured through the shipper of your choice.

If you simply changed your mind, you can still return the dress for an exchange provided the above criteria is met.  *Custom Wedding Dresses (those made with specific alterations or according to your exact measurements) are not returnable unless there is a problem with quality.  Make sure you submit your measurements correctly. We can not be responsible for improper measurements.    

All returns must have a RIN (Return Identification Number)  You can get one by emailing us at info@mybigfatbeautifulwedding.com or contacting customer service.  This is done for insurance purposes.
