Why are your prices so low? Is your quality low too?
Absolutely not! Our prices are low because we deal directly with the manufacturers. These suppliers have proven themselves by supplying us with excellent service and quality wedding gowns. Are your gowns in stock?
In order to offer a large selection and keep prices at near wholesale, we do not stock gowns. We have over 280 wedding dresses. That's one of the biggest selections on the web.
Because we want to offer you the biggest selection possible at a good size range, your dress will be made when you order it. You will have 24 hours to cancel your order. After that, your dress will be in the early stages of creation and we won't be able to cancel any orders.
You will receive your gown within 4 to 6 weeks from the time you order it. (During late Sept through Early April it can sometimes take 7 weeks due to the busy season)

Do I need a PayPal Account To Order My Dress From You?
No. You do not need a Paypal Account to order from us. You can use any major credit card OR your PayPal Account. Which ever is more comfortable for you. We offer PayPal because we are a PayPal Verified Business and that means that our address, bank account status and business name have all been comfirmed with PayPal. Additionally, buying through PayPal brings extra protections to both buyer and seller.

How Do I Place My Order With You?
Ordering is easy. Simply choose the wedding dress or bridesmaid dress that you want and add it to your shopping cart.
When you are ready to check out, you will be redirected to a secure PayPal page where you can make your payment.
Once we are notified that you have placed your order, we will send you a confirmation email.
This email will ask you which color you want your dress to be in. And How you want your dress made. You can either have it made in a US Size 2-28 or you can have your dress made custom to your exact measurements. Either way, the price is the same.
After we get the confirmation email from you with pertinent information, we will begin creating your wedding dress for you.
All dresses are made at the time of the order. Our embelishments and embroidery are all done by hand. If you want your dress to be made specifically to your measurements, it is considered a custom order*. Are There Extra Charges For Plus Sizes?
If you are a US Size 18 or under, there is no additional charge. However, if you are a US size 20 or higher, then there is a modest $20 additional fee. That's very minimal compared to our competition. You can still have your gown custom made and there will be no other charges.
Are There Any Extra Costs Involved That I Need To Know About? When I tried to order at my local bridal shop they told me that I would have about $300 in extra fees!
Absolutely Not! When you order a dress from us, the price you see is the price you pay! Period! There are no additional charges whatsoever (except for plus sizes over 20--only $20 extra). Shipping is FREE so you don't even have to worry about that. And yes you can get your dream dress made hollow to hem at no extra charge. The only additional charges you might possibly incur would be for bustling or if you ordered a US Size gown and had to have any alterations in order to get the dress to your exact measurements. Naturally, these charges are entirely up to you because you work with your local seamstress/tailor. As with any bridal gown, your mybigfatbeautifulwedding dress will more than likely need to be pressed before your big day. We recommend that any wedding gown be pressed by a professional.
Can I Get A Discount If I Order My Bridesmaids Dresses Or Mother Of The Bride Gown From You?
Absolutely! If you purchase more than 2 additional dresses after you have paid for your wedding dress we will be more than happy to give you a 15% discount on the total order amount. But you must order them at the same time (not with your wedding dress).
Do You Have Layaway?
We want you to be able to afford the Gown of your dreams. So, if we have that gown and you need a lay-away plan we can help. Just contact us at info@mybigfatbeautifulwedding.com and we'll set up a payment plan that works for you.
The minimum downpayment is $100 and we can work out the balance in a timely payment plan that is tailored to your needs. Your dress is not ordered though until it is paid for in full.
If you need to cancel your layaway there will be a 25% cancellation fee.
What about refunds?
If you aren't happy, we aren't happy. If there is something wrong with the quality of your dress, or any other problem that is our fault you can return your dress for a full refund less shipping and merchant fees. In order to get a refund you must mail the dress back within 3 days from receiving it. Starting from the day that you received it. For our protection and yours, there are no exceptions. The dress must be in the original packaging and it must not be worn or show any signs of wear or alterations. You must also contact us and receive a RIN (Return Identification Number) from our customer service department. This number must be placed on the outside of the return packaging in order to be accepted. The returned dress must be insured for it's full value through the shipper of your choice.
If you simply changed your mind you can exchange your standard size stock wedding dress for one of equal or lesser value provided that the same terms and conditions for returns are met. You willhowever be responsible for all shipping fees for both dresses.

If you want a refund, we will accept returns on new, un-touched, non-altered wedding gowns.We do not accept returns/exchanges on special ordered gowns, expedited gowns or custom made wedding gowns, under garments or evening/bridesmaids dresses. This includes dresses made to specific meaurements, and any size over a 22. This also includes wedding gowns made in colors other than Ivory, White or Champange . It is absolutely imperative that you make sure your measurements are correct. Once a gown is custom made either to your measurements, from a picture or both, in a non-standard color or size beyond a US 22, it is a Final Sale Gown.
All authorized returns must be within 3 days of when the shipment was dropped off from the carrier, starting from the day the dress was received. There are no exceptions. We must receive a verbal phone confirmation that you would like to return the gown and you must have a return authorization number (RIN) from us. All returned gowns will have a 35% restocking fee applied from the full purchase price of the gown. Once your dress is made, we can not return it to the manufacturer, therefore we must have a 35% restocking fee. In addition you will incur any shipping fees, transaction fees and insurance fees. Any Free promotional items are not returnable and you will be charged at full price. This amount will be deducted from the gown refund. All merchandise must be returned in perfect brand new condition. Merchandise that is not returned in the condition it was sent will not be returnable and you will be obligated to the full purchase price. All returned packages must have a return identification number on them. mybigfatbeautifulwedding.com strives to have a fair and upfront return policy.
